Three Hanford workers reported propane-like odors about 9 a.m. today at the SX Farm change trailer when first entering the facility from outside the farm. None of the workers reported symptoms, and all chose not to undergo medical evaluation.

The employees were performing routine surveys and were not in an area that required use of a supplied-air respirator when odors were reported. Workers were instructed to leave the area, and access to the area was restricted.

Industrial hygiene technicians responded to take samples, and no elevated readings were identified. Access to the area has been restored.
